Topeka Drift
Originally made for https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2024 - we've bumped the resolution to 128x128 for playability.
In Topeka Drift, you find yourself called by a mysterious force to America's heartland- Topeka, Kansas. Use your station wagon's parking brake to drift around heavenly curves and drive through the corn like that one part in Interstellar. It's Topeka, baby, and you can do anything... so why not drive rideshare?
True drifters will find 1 of the 3 secret endings. Station your wagons- there's gig work to be done.

CONTROLS
- WASD / Arrows: Accelerate / Reverse / Steer
- Space: Handbrake (Drifting / Stopping)
- 1-8: Activate various doohickies once unlocked
- Tab: Open store (once unlocked)
- R: Move to safety if stuck

This was a charming, janky little <90 minute experience. The mechanics start to come together pretty well near the end, save for the multiple buggy edges. The god character adds a lot of personality.
Just good chaotic silly fun xD Crazy Taxi in 64x64 is really a (good) vibe ngl! Great work with this!!
